Description

ALL CHARITY STALLS, BARS, CAKE STALLS, PRESERVES AND FOOD GIFT HAMPER STALLS  HAVE NOW BEEN TAKEN

This is the best trading area with the highest footfall and is all outside and will utilise the Market Square and the streets surrounding it namely Conduit Street, Market Street, Breadmarket Street and Bore Street.

The fee is £80.00 for a 3 × 3m space.  If you require electric you will need to book a space and then the correct amount of sockets - please note the electric is for essential use and not just for Christmas lights.

If you are larger than 3 x 3m you need to book the amount of space that covers your size of stall.  If you require more than two spaces please contact us before booking

You’ll also need to apply for your STREET TRADING LICENCE.

If you are only promoting and not selling anything, then you do not need one. It is £13 for non food & beverage sellers and £21 for Food and Beverage sellers.

If you intend to sell alcohol you will require a TENS Licence. That is £21 and all licences have to be applied for via Lichfield District Council.

We provide the links for all licences.

Fee is for space only, no stall is supplied.

You will need to bring your own study gazebo with weights.

Power is available on Market Square but it is very limited and CANNOT be used  just for the purposes of running Christmas Lights/lighting for example.

There is an extra charge of £5 per electricity socket on Market Square:  Please note the total amp on each socket is 16

Please note your place is not confirmed until you receive an order completed email. We manage all orders to make sure your business fits with the Christmas Fayre and other traders.

Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce Christmas Fayre

  • Your allocated spot and if applicable, table, is not to be moved unless you speak to the organiser.
  • Trading times are 10am to 4pm
  • Full payment for stalls must be received upon reservation. Your space is not reserved until payment is received and cleared.
  • Upon receipt of your completed booking form and cleared payment we will confirm your booking. The organiser reserves the right to turn your booking down and refund you. This would usually be due to too many duplicate types of stall.
  • Stall holders are responsible for removing all items and rubbish from their area prior to departure. Failure to do so may result in a fine from Lichfield District Council and offending stall holders will not be invited to attend future Chamber of Trade and Commerce Events.
  • Stall holders must show a copy of their current public liability insurance (minimum £5 Million) and also any Food Hygiene Rating certification to our chosen standards.
  • It is the stall holders responsibility to apply for their Street Trading Licence and TENS as appropriate. Failure to do so will result in you not being permitted to trade.
  • All stall holders are responsible for ensuring that they comply with the necessary legislation regarding their products ie food hygiene, CE etc. Failure to do so will result in you not being permitted to trade.
  • Stallholders stock will be insured by them if being left unattended
  • We are not responsible for anything lost, stolen or broken
  • Stall holders are responsible for their own stock and fittings
  • The organisers will not be held responsible for any theft or damage to stock or shelters
  • We do not offer refunds to stall holders who experience poor sales during the event
  • In the event of a vendor cancellation, we will only offer a refund if the stall can be sold to another vendor and or we are given a minimum of 14 days notice
  • Health and Safety is the responsibility of the stall holder
  • Payments are non-refundable under any circumstances on the day of the event.
  • Stall allocation is subject to change right up to the start time of the event.
  • We reserve the right to refuse space without prejudice.
  • Some Tables and chairs are ONLY provided inside The Guildhall.
  • If you DO NOT give permission for your products to be photographed please display a NO PHOTOGRAPHY sign on your stall
  • Set up time:

7am Outside.
8am inside The Hub at St Mary’s.
8.30am Inside The Guildhall

  • You will be allocated an arrival time, please do not arrive before this time as you will not be allowed access . No cars will be permitted access after 9.30 am
  • Cars must be off site by: 9.30am. No return until 4pm and only after being advised by the organiser.
  • The Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce reserves the right to cancel the event at any time up to 9am on the day of the event in the event of severe weather, upon such an occurrence stall holders will receive the following :

Event cancelled prior to the start time = 100% refund of stall fee
Event terminated during event: up to 50% refund of stall fee depending on time of termination
