Artisan gifts, tasty treats and plenty of fun – we know that the inaugural Lichfield Summer Festival Market will be bursting with unique crafts and local brew, entertainment and – fingers crossed – plenty of sunshine.
Building on the continuing success of the hugely popular traditional Christmas Fayre, Lichfield Chamber is bringing a bright new Summer Festival Market to our vibrant and wonderful city in 2025 for the first time. With plenty of stalls throughout the city centre, along Minster Pool and Dam Street, we’ll be encouraging new visitors and old to explore Lichfield’s fabulous heritage and support local trades, shops and our cafes.

Volunteering at the Summer Festival Market
The Chamber is a non-profit organisation whose objective is to support and benefit local businesses in Lichfield. Pitch fees are used to fund the necessary costs of running the festival market, such as security and operating permits. The event is planned, organised and staffed completely by volunteers, including members of the Chamber, local business owners and organisations such as charities or Scout groups.

Trade with us at the Lichfield Summer Festival Market
If you’re a regular trader at our Christmas Fayre, you’ll know that our events are all about supporting stallholders to have an amazing experience and bringing footfall in for our permanent shops and eateries. You can expect a clear plan from start to finish, with timed arrival slots to prevent bottlenecks in our historic streets, volunteers on hand to help unload your vehicle efficiently and an easy, online booking system to keep your payments and paperwork all in one place.

Traders are responsible for acquiring the appropriate license.
- Street Trading License. These are included in the pitch fees .
- TENs License. A TENs license is required if you sell alcohol.
- Hot Food/Drink Traders Bars. Limited spaces are available, in line with our objective to promote Lichfield based businesses such as local cafes and restaurants.
