About Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce
The Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce is an independent, non-profit making organisation founded over 120 years ago and is run by local business people for local businesses. Its aims are to keep members informed on local issues and initiatives, give support and to bring empowerment to businesses within the City.
Meetings are held monthly to keep members up to date with current issues and initiatives. All members are welcome to attend.
It is our vision that the voices of your businesses are heard in our local community and we have a platform to deliver your views and thoughts to Lichfield City Council & Lichfield District Council. The Chamber provides a means by which this can be achieved and as membership numbers grow, the Chamber will become even more effective and influential.

What has the Chamber done in recent years?
The Chamber has made representations to the District Council and other agencies on a number of sensitive issues over the last few years including Planning, Parking and Policing, and so has contributed to widespread improvements in the past, present and for the future. The Chamber was also the driving force in getting the BID formulated.
The Chamber is involved in many initiatives including the new Business Improvement District (BIDS) and is consulted by the District and City Councils on matters affecting business matters in Lichfield.
